Our Story

We started baking because our own dogs deserved better

Like many pet parents in the Tahoe area, we grew frustrated with store-bought treats full of unpronounceable ingredients. So we started in our own kitchen — testing recipes, sourcing local ingredients, and learning what real dogs actually love.

Today, Scraps Dog Bakery is a beloved Tahoe City institution. Every treat, every cookie, and every birthday cake is still made by hand, in small batches, with the same care we put into our own dog's meals.
